MyPetHealth (“we”, “us”) is built to help you keep one private, organised record of your pet’s health.
We collect the minimum data needed to run the app and we never sell it.
What we store
Your email and display name (only if you create an account — sign-up or social sign-in).
Pet records you enter: name, species, breed, birth date, photo, microchip ID, insurance, allergies, weight history, vaccines, medications, vet visit notes, symptoms, feeding schedules.
Emergency contacts you add (vet, after-hours clinic).
Your App Store or Google Play purchase receipt, which our payment provider RevenueCat uses to verify your subscription.
Where it’s stored
Your data lives in Google Firebase (Firestore + Auth) in the United States and Europe.
Access is restricted to your account — no other user can read your pet records.
Notifications
We schedule reminders on your device only, using local notifications.
We do not send marketing push messages.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share it only with:
Google Firebase — to store it on your behalf.
RevenueCat + App Store / Google Play — to validate your subscription purchases.
People you explicitly share with (e.g. a PDF report you email to your vet).
Your rights
Export — Settings → Download my data. Gives you a JSON file with everything we have.
Delete — Settings → Delete account. Permanently erases your account and all pet records.
If you live in the EU, UK, or California you have these rights by law (GDPR / CCPA). They apply to you globally too — we don’t gate features by region.
Children
MyPetHealth is for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
